Two-day itinerary
Saigon to Mui Ne to Dalat.
The two-day ride covers a large distance over open pace offroad terrain. The majority of riding is on gravel and light sandy tracks. True to our style, any "road" riding is frowned upon. Although this ride is not "difficult", it will push the endurance boundaries with the sheer number of KM covered with offroad tracks.
Day one goes through rubber plantations then into light sand and gravel riding, following the train track all the way to Mui Ne. Arrival in Mui Ne is likely to be after dark, where SunRise Resort await with a BBQ party and a swimming pool. Swimming is likely and encouraged due to the setup of the building with the BBQ area being around the pool. I Recommend packing one spare shorts for this.
Day two opens with sand that will push most riders (or an optional gravel route). We then meet at a place we coined "the motocross track. Here, there is shade and a chance to do small jumps in the sand. A chance to show off your skills, or learn how to ride.
The rest of the ride heads up toward Dalat and cuts into the Ta Nang national park before popping out exactly at Dalat Airport where we finish. We will be finishing with a BBQ before heading back to Saigon.

2. Please take note of burning the clutch. This is the biggest cause of "breakdowns" on offroad events like this.

What to bring and wear
- You should be riding in the same clothes on Sat and Sun.
- 1 x Pair of shorts and T-shirt for Sat Night + Bus home. Bring one shorts for swimming.
- Your luggage should be light enough to use as a backpack. You should not be needing to strap any luggage to the bike. If you are strapping luggage to the bike, you have too much.
- The truck can carry your items back to Saigon. We will prepare plastic bags to throw clothes into.
- We will try to arrange for the truck to be carrying everyone's shoes from Saigon to Dalat. Please bring spare shoes to Tigit before Friday!
How does it work
One guide will have 4 to 5 clients (no more).
The 150cc groups (Todd and Link), have the option to stay as small groups, but in the past they combine into one big group. This group also has a mechanic.
Motorbikes
All guides will be on Tigit’s bikes. Anyone on their own bike must have offroad tires. DRZ owners should pack tents and water for camping in the dunes.
Disclaimer
Our rallies are designed to maximize offroading, and to physically exhaust the client. We try to avoid roads at all costs.

- Bring your best shoes for safety. Long trousers (no shorts)
- No pillions
- “Bring your own bikes” are responsible for their own bikes
